Our standard wedding package includes two days at our charming farm. You won't feel rushed. Relax while setting up for your dream wedding. Here you can enjoy time with your friends and family, connect with nature and explore the historic farm’s pastures, forests, trails, streams, ponds and flower gardens. A farm wedding venue isn't complete without critters. We have the two friendliest donkeys you’ll ever meet, a gentle Clydesdale, and a small herd of mini-Highland cows.
The large, luxurious Carriage House is the hub for weddings. Downstairs has a catering kitchen and buffet area.
The donkeys love to greet wedding guests. And wedding guests love to snuggle and take selfies with Candy & Candi who are sweet as can be.
This is where we raise the ducks and geese. When they grow up they spend their days paddling around on the pond and sleeping under the big tree.
The pond with its fountain and geese and ducks paddling around is a beautiful backdrop for a wedding. It is stocked with catfish and trout and guests are welcome to fish.
On the ground floor of the cellar you can step back in time and see how the original farmer and his family lived off the land and stored their food. Upstairs, trace the history of the land from the Cherokee Indians who owned the whole mountain until 1820 to the farmers and bootleggers to the present day owners who acquired the farm in 1988.
This is the restored farm house where the owners of the property live.
This is where the original farm family, who lived here from 1910 - 1980, cured their meat to be eaten in the winter.
Ron and Pippa Seichrist, the owners of the estate, designed and created most of the furniture found in the different houses. They offer walking-stick-making lessons to guests.
Pippa is a potter whose work is shown in several galleries in the area. She also offers pottery lessons to guests.
Friends & family of the owners are invited to stay here. It backs up to the national forest.
The owners built the play house for their daughter when she was six. Young guests are invited to play here. When she turned 25, they built the Carriage House for her wedding.
Blackberry house is a three minute walk through the forest or a three minute drive on a paved road. The three-story house sleeps up to 14 and is the perfect place for the groom and groomsmen to get ready or for friends and family to stay.
A converted Airstream makes the coolest spot for the wedding party to hang out before the wedding. The deck over looks the pond and is one of the best views on the estate.
The Farm Gallery is filled with folk art of animals you might find on the property. Some of the art was created by the owners, other art was collected from their travels around the U.S. and travel abroad.
Each piece of work is accompanied with unexpected facts about the animal, Cherokee folklore or info on the artists who created the work.
